An important aspect of the QMat mission is to connect with local, regional and international partners bringing our strengths in education and research bridging physics, material science, chemistry and engineering. If you see an opportunity for partnerships, please contact us.
Benefits of connecting with the QMat community:
Direct interaction with the next generation of experts in quantum science and nanomaterials. Our students are highly energetic with diverse interdisciplinary and international backgrounds and gain an unparalleled research training experience at the University of Strasbourg.
Collaborate with expert academic partners with various backgrounds ranging from fundamental science and quantum physics to nano-materials fabrication, experimental and computational nanoscience and device engineering.
Access state-of-the-art research facilities such as clean-rooms, optical and electronic advanced microscopies, quantum physics laboratories and large facilities for materials characterisation, synthesis and device engineering.
Be part of a growing international community of academic and industry leaders in quantum science and nanomaterials in a highly international setting.
Ways to be involved:
Training: contribute specialized lectures at QMat events or host visits by our students at your company
Industry-inspired doctoral research projects: propose industry-inspired research projects in collaboration with the academic partners
Secondments: host collaborative projects to provide a bridge between industry and academia, and develop technologies with commercialisation potential.
Master Internship projects: QMat students enjoy an extended 6 month research phase in the second year of their master studies which can be performed in external research labs.
Mentorships: industry partners can act as mentors for our students at all levels and share insight into successful research career development
