We are announcing up to 30 “Q-Master" scholarships at both the M1 (first year) and M2 (second year) Master levels, for outstanding candidates with a BSc degree (or equivalent). Classes begin in September 2025.

Requirements for the Master program

  • Bachelor of Science in Physics or equivalent

  • Proof of English and/or French proficiency

  • Motivation to pursue a Masters and/or PhD in Strasbourg

Fees

Costs to study in France is largely subsidized by the French government for all students. More info here.


Master fellowships

Applicants to the QMat programme will be considered for a Q-Master scholarship of around 800€/month. Fellowships will be awarded based on previous academic performance, overlap of your interests and goals with QMat themes and your motivation to take part in the QMat programme.

Doctoral fellowships

Doctoral students registered at the University of Strasbourg can apply to become a member of QMat at any time (see the dedicated page).
