Antoine Herrmann

Introduction:
I’m Antoine Herrmann, master MCN and Magistère de physique, interested in particle physics and condensed matter. I’m involved in QMAT for 1 year and have the ambition to continue my formation in thesis. One of my project is to write a book to introduce quantum mechanics to non initiate students and to develop a YouTube chanel with my courses and helps to understand the basic assumptions of physics.

Denis Janković

Introduction:
I got a bachelor in physics and mathematics here in Strasbourg and I am now proudly part of the QMat IGS in the Condensed Matter & Nanophysics cursus. I also hope to contribute to the activities and success of the IGS through the Young Investigators Group.
I’m interested in quantum computing, magnetism, solid state physics, quantum optics and open quantum systems.
More generally I’m interested in the applications of quantum mechanics in quantum technologies and the progress that is being made nowadays, I’m especially very keen on theoretical approaches of those subjects.

Ahmed Jou

Introduction:
I am Ahmed JOU from Morocco, I am an M2 student of PRIDI whose responsible is Mr. P.LAQUERRIERE. I applied for this master mainly because I am passionate about research in areas related to PRIDI.

Carla Jouffray

Introduction:
Currently, in the fifth year of the ECPM engineer school, I joined the MSc Qmat in order to deepen and enrich my knowledge in the fields of, among others, quantum physics and nanosciences. This program will also allow me to learn from the expertise of the many speakers I will have the opportunity to meet during the various conferences in which Qmat students are invited to participate.

Vincent Juste

Introduction:
I am Vincent, a student in the PSA Master and a former M1 student at the University of Strasbourg. I originally come from Toulon in the south of France where I spent most of my life. I then moved to Nice where I spent 2 years in a preparatory class. I ended up coming to Strasbourg to join the Magistère and later QMat. My goal is to work in the field of high energy physics, either on particle physics or astroparticle physics. My occupations aside from studying mainly involve hanging out and doing Parkour.

Lum Ya Woon

Introduction:
I am a student from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU) and currently participating in the inter-University exchange program to the University of Strasbourg. I am interested in investigating the growth and structure of nanomaterials, understanding their properties and their practical applications.

Emma Monpribat

Introduction:
I am Emma Monpribat, a student in Master 2 of Subatomic and Astroparticles Physics. I first joined Strasbourg to follow a double bachelor’s degree in physics and geology, even if I always preferred the first one. After these degrees I decided to join the Magister of fundamental physics and the QMat graduate school to continue my studies in physics, and I hope to have the opportunity to pursue in research. On top of physics, I practice climbing and swing dancing

Rémi Pasquier

Introduction:
I’m a M2 student in the M2 MCN speciality. I’m mainly interested in theoretical physics, with a particular affinity for anything in link with both Condensed Matter Physics and Particle Physics (Quantum Field Theory, Statistical Physics, Semiclassical physics, Chaos Theory, etc…). I’m planning to do a Thesis in Theoretical Condensed matter physics, maybe about the Theory of Semiclassical physics or Statistical physics.

Antonio Pena Corredor

Introduction:
I am Antonio Pena Corredor, an M2 student at the ECPM. I am an international double diploma student between the Unistra and the University of Seville.
